The Society has been supporting members with their savings and mortgage aspirations for over 150 years. As a mutual building society, our members and communities have always been our priority.

Brokers can have their say on our services by using Smart Money People , an online financial services review site.

Smart Money People regularly work with brokers to gain insights into the mortgage industry. Twice yearly they release the mortgage lender benchmark (MLB) report, the industry’s largest broker feedback survey, designed to provide in-depth analysis of the mortgage market.

The MLB highlights which lenders are providing the best service levels to brokers and their customers. Insights include lenders criteria, speed of service, eligibility, communication and relationship manager performance. Brokers can rate a lender’s technology, including criteria and sourcing systems.

Over the last year, brokers have described us as ‘helpful, prompt, professional and flexible’, with an overall satisfaction rate of over 90%.
