Throughout October, the Society's branch network and Head Office teams have been fundraising for Shelter Cymru with fiendish fun and games for members and colleagues.
All 10 branches got involved with lots of member activity, including a Guess the Sweets in the Jar competition and selling crochet pumpkins. Caerleon Road Branch Manager, Eileen Williams, was amazed at the amount of money her branch raised saying, "We are always taken aback by the generosity of our members, whether they are donating crafted goods or money, they always get behind our fundraising activity. Caerleon Road might be a small branch but it has a big heart and I am so proud of the team and our members. I can't believe we raised over £130!"
Colleagues at Head Office were also keen to get involved and hosted a Spooktacular Quiz and a Halloween Fancy-dress competition for everyone across the Society to get involved with. Direct Sales Manager Kristy Maloney, who organised the quiz, reported, "It was pretty terrifying walking around the building last Friday. Those who got dressed up went all out, the costumes and makeup could've rivalled any Hollywood Horror film. But the best thing was seeing everyone come together as one Society to have fun and raise money.'
