Background and Career
Sham has over 34 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He joined Zopa Bank as the Group Finance Director in 2021, where he has helped build and scale a new fintech bank. Sham has held a number of senior managerial positions including Director of Finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, Head of Group Finance at Nationwide Building Society, Interim Group Finance Controller at Aldermore Bank Plc and Senior Vice President of Fortress Investment Group.
Skills and Experience
Sham has a great deal of experience as a senior finance leader in financial services and fintechs. He trained as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG and is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Sham holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science.
